Frequently asked questions
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The image is decoded, edited and saved inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere, so it also works for ID photos and documents.
What is the smallest size I can ask for?
The tool accepts 5 KB and up. Very small targets shrink the pixel size as well as the quality, so the picture may look soft.
Does compressing reduce the dimensions?
Only when lowering quality is not enough. It tries quality first and keeps the original pixel size whenever the limit allows.
