How do I find the error in my JSON?
Paste it and press Format. If it is invalid, the message shows what the parser found and, where the browser reports it, the line and column. Common causes are trailing commas, single quotes and unquoted keys.
Does it support comments or trailing commas?
No. This is a strict JSON parser, so // comments, /* */ comments and trailing commas are reported as errors. Remove them or use a JSON5 tool.
What does Sort keys do?
It orders object keys alphabetically at every depth, which makes two documents easier to compare. Array order is never changed.
Is my data uploaded?
Runs entirely in your browser; nothing you paste is sent anywhere.
